Prestice

Prestice (in German, Prestitz) is a town of a couple thousand inhabitants in south-west Bohemia, just 20 km south of Plzen. It is situated about 100 km south-west of Prague. Before 1918 the area was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and from 1918 until 1993 it belonged to the Czechoslovak Republic.
