Subject: RE: Lists of Jews from Neishtot-Tavrig.
My name is Basil Kallner, I have found your article in Jewishjen/shtetlinks. My late father came from Naishtot and I was thrilled to have found mention of his family as this is the first time I have been able to trace his roots. The Avraham Kalner (actual spelling Kallner) was my grandfather, I believe the Dov Kelner who fought with the Red Army should also have been spelt Kallner. In Appendix III Shimon Dissler married my farther's younger sister Miriam, and Filmeister- Kelner Sarah ( actual spelling Pilmeister-Kallner Sarah) was also my fathers sister. Lubinsky - Kelner Slava was my fathers eldest sister and that spelling should also be Kallner. My father went to South Africa in (1933?) .. His name was Herman Kallner ( Noah Tzvi).
