The History of Nasedlovice

The village consists of about 500 residents in the wine-making region of the Czech Republic, an agricultural community. I suspect that my ancestors, the Weisskopfs, came there in the last half of the nineteenth century from neighboring villages near Goding (Hodonin), the regional "big city." They were merchants, and members of the family lived there until they were evacuated by the Nazis to Brno and on to Auschwitz.
