The Jewish Colonial Trust was the parent company of the Anglo Palestine Bank, predecessor of Bank Leumi, founded by Theodore Herzl in 1899. In the early 20th century, JCT issued about 250,000 shares at a par value of 1 pound sterling. Its activities focused on the purchase from the Ottoman Government of the right of settlement in Palestine, and granted credit for activities.  The company's activities were transferred in 1950 to an Israeli corporation, JCT Ltd. Share rights were converted into interests in the Israeli company, and shareholders may contact the company and receive a settlement or benefit. Forms to complete are available online.
