This image donated by Howard Zakai, who found it in a pocket calendar
for 1927-8, probably owned by his greatgrandfather Jacob Abrams.
However, on the back of the ticket is written H. Abramowitz and an address.
This may indicate the ticket predates the calendar, since H. Abramowitz
is probably Jacob's father, who died in 1920, came to the US from Lithuania
in 1907, but had lived at a different address from the one on the ticket
since 1917.. Jacob's wife Tillie nee Marks was probably the reason
the Abrams' belonged to LBUV, as sShe is buried in the
LBUV plot in Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY
