This transcription was donated by Rhonda B. Cohen, who writes: "March 2005
- the exact row endings were not known at time of transcribing; R Poizner,
President of Beth Lida (Forest Hill) Synagogue at 22 Gilgorm Rd gave start
Row 1 (west) and end Row 6 (east) from street, and stated their section
did not extend to the fence. ( Please realize there will be errors
and omissions and I apologize. I was told Roselawn was once a brick works
factory, so the rows are anything but straight! Hence the difficulty in figuring
out partial rows. The Jewish Genealogical Society is in the process of transcribing
Roselawn and will hopefully one day have it available online. This is only
one small done section while trying to find members of my family. If this
proves useful to you, then please return the favour and check with JGS to
help with their cemetery transcription project. Jewish cemeteries need
to be done! In fact, all cemeteries should be done!
I have included all rows to fence but used [aisle divide] specifically
to show what is possibly not part of the Beth Lida section.) [empty]
count may not be exact! Rows were numbered from west to east, walking north
(street to back fence of houses".
This transcription updates the list donated by Elaine Rosenbloom, which was
made decades ago.
