Although no vital records are known to exist for Kolbuszowa, every now and then one comes across a treasure. While looking through the Sokolow ledgers in the Rzeszów Archives I found a slim folder tucked inside one of them with a few documents.
This document is a copy of a legal statement given by the office of the prefect in Kolbuszowa to the officer responsible for the processing of Jewish Birth Certificates in Sokolów. The document states that there was a child born to an unmarried woman named Feigi Kleinman at the end of 1874 (no exact date is given). The name of that child was Maryem Ester Kiselstein Scheinman Kleinman and she was born in Sokolów. This document was written on the 13th September 1912.
