May his excellency Rabbi Joseph Yaffe, head of the rabbinic court in Manchester, be blessed with good fortune on the marriage of his daughter which took place on Wednesday of the week during which the Torah portion Tetzaveh is read. In commemoration I have donated three times chai for the settlement of the land of Israel. Zvi Dov Brill and Bendet Olshvang each donated 36 kopeks and Yechiel Michel son of David Moshe gave 18 kopeks to the one authorized here in Gorzd according to receipts 643/ 5, 6.

I congratulate his excellency Rabbi Joseph Yaffe, head of the rabbinic court in Manchester, on the occasion of the marriage of his daughter Chana which took place on Wednesday of the week during which the Torah portion Tetzaveh is read and Aryeh Cohen from Kupishok on the marriage of his son Elchanan to his contemporary, the daughter of Rabbi Mordechai from Bausk, which took place on Tuesday of the week during which the Torah portion Tetzaveh is read and in commemoration I have donated 54 kopeks for the benefit of the workers according to receipt 643/7.

Our blessings upon our friend Dov Rubinstein and his contemporary Lesse Ziv on their marriage which took place on the 12th of Adar, for which we have contributed to the settlement of the land of Israel: Zavel Broida – 25 kopeks, Eliezer Volfovitz, Shlomo and Yitzchak Zusmanovitz, Yosef Porat, and Yaakov Brill – each 18 kopeks. Sum total – 1.15 rubles, according to receipt 643/8.
