Local Maps
Detailed south Prussian map of Dzialoszyn and environs produced by David Gilly and published in 1802-1803. The map shows the town was a main coaching/post inn stop (denoted by the cross), that it had two adjacent water-mills, a bridge over the river Warthe and that it was close by extensive woodlands. Note also the manor house and its planned gardens; below and to the left of  the town. Detailed topographical map of Działoszyn of 1918. The location of the synagogue is shown with a red star and was in the street behind the market square (Podłęczna), on the road leading to the Mêciñski mansion.  The Jewish cemeteries are to the right of the town.
