(Leyia Yurkowsky) recorded her life story for StoryCorps oral history project. 
                Lily was born and raised in Boyarka   until the pogroms forced her family to flee. Her family
                finally settled in the Bronx, NY. I was fortunate to have met Lily in 2005. She was a remarkable
                woman.
