Welcome to the Zhager ShtetLinks page. While I am the "compiler" of the material, this ShtetLinks page is intended to be a group effort by Žagarė descendents. You can see by the contents on the left hand portion of the site what is included. The section on Memories, Reminiscences, and Anecdotes includes material on family histories and pictures of our ancestors. The Travelogue section includes descriptions of trips some of us have taken to Žagarė, including photographs. Thanks to all who contributed including Nicky Carklin, the volunteer who did the technical work to create this site, and to Gizella Czene who helped with additions and changes. More material is always welcome. Please send any such material, or suggested corrections or additions, to me.
