Jewish Families Living in Towns Near Wielkie Oczy on the Eve of Shoa

This is a list of families who lived in villages nearby and who who belonged to the Wielkie Oczy Jewish Community. The villages in which they lived included Czaplaki, Drohomsyl, Hruszow, Klonice, Koblynica Ruska, Kobylnica Woloska, Majdan, Lipowiec, Skolin, Swidnica, Wolka Zmijowska and Zmijowiska.

For the most part, these families farmed and lived in mostly Polish and Ukranian poor agricultural communities. The Jews of these villages would pray in the Wielkie Oczy synagogue and be buried in the Wielkie Oczy Jewish cemetery. Most perished along with the Jews of Wielkie Oczy proper during the Holocaust.
