A Wonderful Start...

Although much preparation had been made in promoting the drive to raise funds for the temple addition and remodeling, the Sheboygan press reported a bequest that proved to be "a wonderful start....."

"Congregation Beth El is the recipient of a $35,000 bequest from the estate of the late Harry B. Holman, who died in August, 1961. The money is to be added to the fund for a proposed meeting room and religious classroom additon."

"Shown here, Harold Holman (left), co-executor of his late uncle's estate, is presenting the check to Leonard Nemschoff, chairman of the fund-raising committee. At the right is Joseph Feldman, 1962 president of the congregation. In the rear are Joel B. Fiedelman (left), attorney for the estate and now president of the congregation, and Mayer Alpert, build committee chairman." "Sheboygan Press Photo)
