(Translator's note: "K.K. Staatsbahn": Since this part of Poland used to be part of the Austro Hungarian Empire before WW I, I assume that K.K. stands for "Koening & Kaiser" or King & Emperor; so I called it "Royal". Maybe someone else has a different interpretation.)

Shlomo ben Moshe HaLevi Weichselbaum

 

(The name is Shlomo ben Moshe HaLevi Weichselbaum who passed away (apparently in his ripe old age) in the year Taf-Reish-Cof-Ches (that would translate to 1867/1868, again depending on the month) family name Weichselbaum.)

Interred here the woman the "Negida" (a nobility title usually bestowed on someone wealthy) the important her name was renown for her good deeds that her hand was outstretched to the poor to help them Chaya the daughter of the exceptional Rabbi Yakov z"l. She passed away on the sixth (the month seems to be cut off) Taf-Reish-Ayin-Dalet (that would translate to 1913/1914 depending on the month).

Rubin Family
 


Chaim_ChaiaRubin  
 Avram Chaim Rubin, ben Eliyahu, born  about 1825, and his wife Chaia (bat Alexander Shonwald) Rubin.

Their 2 sons, Yechiel (Harris) and Leib (died young) were born in Rzeszow. They emmigrated to the US  in the late 1850s and settled in San Francisco by 1865. Photo taken in San Francisco before 1880, when Chaia died. Connections with other Rubin families from Rzeszow unknown.
