Korsun Surnames

Most of the names are gathered from Philadelphia sources.
The remaining names were found on the Internet and through direct
correspondence with other Korsun researchers. One
of those researchers, Corin Goodwin, contributed the charter for
incorporation of the “Hordishter-Korsoner
Lodge” Landsmanshaft in New York. The landsmanshaft membership
consisted of people from Korsun and from the nearby shtetl of Gorodishche.
The names listed on the charter appear to be those of officers.
Within the database, the names from the Cemetery and Charter lists
appear to be anglicized. The surnames from the other sources
appear to be the “original” surname
of the immigrant family.
