They shared schools, cemeteries, kosher butchers, bakers and more. Smaller shtetlach registered their birth, marriages and death in a nearby larger shtetl. Borowa Jews registered their births, marriages and deaths in the Radomysl Wielki Kahal [Jewish community's local board]
Cemetery used by Borowa Jews: The Pinkhas Hakehillot entry for Borowa states that the Jews of Borowa used the Mielec Cemetery. The Radomysl Wielki Yizkor Book claims that the Jews of Borowa were buried in the Radomysl Wielki Cemetery. It is possible that both cemeteries were used by the Jews of Borowa, depending on the time period or “affiliation” to the local Rabbi or Chevra Kedisha [ Burial Society ] membership.
