Dovhe Holocaust

In mid-April, 1944, the general roundup of all Dovhe's Jews began. They were all taken to the ghetto, where they cowered for a month or so.

On 18 May 1944, 472 Jews were deported to Auschwitz. Out of this number 64 survived after internment in Concentration Camps.
In addition, there were 54 other survivors, some of whom served in Labor camps (males), other survivors were not present in Dolha
during the deportation. Thirty-seven Jewish families of Dolha perished in Auschwitz without a single survivor.
