The Sofia Synagogue is the largest synagogue in Southeastern Europe,
one of two functioning in Bulgaria and the third-largest in Europe.
The Jewish community of Bulgaria opened a daycare center (for children 2 to 5 years old),
at the Sofia Synagogue on February 1, 2010.
