Grodek
Grodek Gallery (photographed in 1987; 2005)
Directions: From Bialystok travel 36 km east on highway 65 towards Bobrowniki. The road to Grodek (heading on to Michałowo) will be on your right (south). The cemetery is in the northwestern part of town, on a dirt road just across the road from the Christian cemetery in a pine forest (Images 2,3). It is completely surrounded by a simple wooden fence (Image 4). A memorial stands outside the fenced area (Image 6).
Conditions: The cemetery rests in a pine forest, with a simple wooden fence delineating the boundaries. No matzevoth remain just supports and a few bases (Image 5). A Memorial, established in 1965, stands outside the cemetery (Image 6 and Bagnowka gallery). No threats present themselves.
