Footnotes:

1. Built in the late 1800s, Synagoga Duźa (Big Synagogue) was severly damaged during World War I. During the Second World War, the Germans devastated the interior by using the building as a stable. Converted to a bakery in 1967, the building was entered into the register of monuments in 1995.

2. Built in the 19th century by the Hasidim of Gorlice, the Beszt Synagogue served as a place of worship until the outbreak of WW II. After the war, the building was repurposed as a fire station. The building was demolished in 2016.
